SARAH G. HARRIS
STAGE MANAGER
Hello there! Thank you for looking me up! My name is Sarah Harris and I am currently the Stage Manager for Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway which will begin Previews in October 2024.
It’s a gift to be a part of this community and create Broadway shows! I’ve had the pleasure of working on The Wiz, The Heart of Rock & Roll, the Tony Award Winning Revival of Parade (starring Ben Platt & Micaela Diamond, directed by Tony Award Winner Michael Arden), A Christmas Carol (starring Jefferson Mays), POTUS, Come From Away, Once On This Island, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and The Crucible on Broadway as well as the National Tours of Hamilton (Philip and Angelica Companies). In addition to stage managing, I also teach Stage Management Methodologies alongside my dear friend and collaborator, Justin Scribner, at Columbia University’s Graduate SM Program. It is extraordinary to get to spend time with the next generation of stage managers! I welcome any opportunity to share what I’ve learned with students, young stage managers, teachers, and professionals alike. The world is a better place when we can work as one!
Over the last few years, I’ve done some exciting spinoffs: Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical during Super Bowl 2019, an Immersive Holiday Show with Target, the Live Captures of A Christmas Carol and Come From Away, several corporate events including the Paramount Upfronts, The Webby Awards, “Goalkeepers” with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and site-specific immersive theatre with The Forest of Arden. My experiences have taught me so much and I continue to learn every day! Each individual collaborator brings a unique magic and perspective into the room that we can all learn from. The combination of this and the art we create can challenge and move us in ways we never expect. As a stage manager, I hope to facilitate a creative environment that allows everyone in the room to be the best version of themselves and make something they’re passionate about and proud of.
If you’re a collaborator, student, teacher, manager, producer, creative— whatever! Feel free to reach out and connect. Click here if you’re looking to learn more about my story.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
